Season outlook: The 2013 Phoenix nearly exceeded their conference performance at the state meet, thanks to Class B champion Brenner in the race walk and runner-up Uter in javelin. Graduation and transfer took away some of Spruce Mountain’s strength in sprints and throws, but strong numbers should help.
