Key losses: Will Cunningham (middle distance), Garrett Carver (middle distance), Alex Witas (sprints), Andrew Phelps (sprints, long jump), Niklas DuPon (sprints).
Promising newcomers: Senior — Tom Thibeau (throws), Junior — Matt Pulsifer (sprints); Sophomores — Marcus Wrangbert (triple jump), Mike Provencher (sprints); Freshmen — Kyle Farrar (sprints, jumps), Conor Jacobson (high jump), Caleb Austin (shot put)
Season overview: Taylor believes the word is getting out about the Falcons’ track program, and the influx of competitors suggests that he is right. In addition to the strong freshman class, Mountain Valley has several upper-class athletes out for the first time. The Falcons shoud be stronger in the throws, sprints, and jumps this year. Distances may be the early weakness, but with some hard work in the preseason there is potential to improve as the season progresses. This may be a season where the Falcons make a move toward the upper echelon of the MVC.
