Season outlook: The Eddies hope to bounce back from the end of a six-year championship streak at KVACs, and they appear to have the balance and depth to do so. Distance and throws have been areas of relative weakness for EL in recent years, and Hunter has a total of 29 girls out for those events. The coach also liked the work ethic of his indoor team and expects that to translate well to the outdoor season. Hairston placed in two events at the 2013 state meet, including a second-place finish in discus.
