LEWISTON — Nancy Marshall, marketing and communications expert, will be the facilitator of a seminar on using the Internet to grow small businesses.
Nationally, small business enterprises with high Web use grew at an average annual rate of 13 percent during the past three years, while those with low Web use rates grew at only 6.2 percent.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 7, at three locations: Lewiston High School, 156 East Ave., Lewiston (live presentation); RSU 16 Adult Education, 129 Elm St., Mechanic Falls (Tandberg site); and SAD 52 Adult Education, 486 Turner Center Road, Turner (Tandberg site). Doors open at 5 p.m. and refreshments will be served.
It is being sponsored by the ConnectME Authority, the Maine Department of Education, Lewiston Adult Education, and the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce. It is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
