OSWEGO, N.Y. (AP) — Bowdoin College officials say no one was aboard the men’s hockey team bus when it slid down a hill during Wednesday’s blizzard and hit a central New York restaurant.

Nick Canale told The Post-Standard of Syracuse (http://bit.ly/1fyEMSW ) that the bus driver was having lunch inside his Italian restaurant in Oswego on Wednesday afternoon when the parked vehicle slid downhill and hit the side of the building.

No one was injured.

Canale said the impact damaged the building’s awning, rails and steps.

It’s not known what caused the charter bus to move. Officials at the college in Brunswick, Maine said the bus slid down the hill “due to ice.”

Bowdoin’s NCAA Tournament game against Oswego State College was postponed because of Wednesday’s weather. The game will be played Thursday afternoon.
