Isn’t it time for the Buckfield Withdrawal Committee and selectmen to face facts and admit that leaving RSU 10 is really not feasible?

Lack of support from neighboring towns (despite assurances), the unreasonable concept of Buckfield being a stand-alone system, and the unwillingness of other systems to take on Buckfield as a full partner make leaving an expensive and frivolous effort.

Finally, I believe that most Buckfield residents like our school. Our citizens enjoy the sports, music and drama and the social activities.

I am all for saving money, but there clearly is no advantage or savings in withdrawal.
