The Central Maine Community College men scored the game’s final 15 points to rally from a 22-point halftime deficit and defeat Warren Wilson College, 90-85, in the consolation bracket of the USCAA Division II national basketball tournament Friday in Uniontown, Pa.

Tim Flanagan scored 18 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to lead the Mustangs in the comeback. Flanagan scored all 18 of those points on 3-pointers, shooting 6-for-8 from long range in the half. Shaun Hill, who set a tournament record with 46 points on Thursday night, also scored all 15 of his points in the second half on 5-for-6 shooting from beyond the 3-point arc.

Trailing 85-75, Central Maine held Warren Wilson scoreless for the final 4:18 of the game. Flanagan sparked the game-deciding 15-0 run with the first of his three 3-pointers in the final 4:12. The last two came back-to-back to tie the game and then put the Mustangs in front to stay with 42 seconds left. It was their first lead since starting the game 2-0.

Kazre Cummings added 13 points for the Mustangs, who end their season at 31-3. Justin Gonyea led Warren Wilson (16-13) with 22 points.
