FARMINGTON — Democratic Party caucuses for 16 towns and plantations in Franklin County will be held Sunday, March 2.
Attendees will select delegates to the Democratic State Convention, elect municipal officers and county committee members, and discuss national and local issues affecting all Mainers. Democratic candidates, elected officials and representatives from Democratic campaigns will attend. Attendees are asked to bring their viewpoints, ideas and questions for discussion.
People not registered in a political party who would like to enroll as a Democrat may do so immediately at the Town Office or at the caucus.
In case of snow, caucuses will be held March 9 at the same times and locations.
The state convention will be held May 30 and 31 at the newly opened Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Dallas Plantation: 1:30 p.m., Church of the Good Shepherd
Farmington: 3 p.m., University of Maine at Farmington, North Dining Hall
Jay: 1 p.m., VFW Hall, 64 Jewell St.
Kingfield: 2 p.m., Carrabassett Valley Town Office
New Sharon: 2 p.m., Town Office
Phillips: 4 p.m., Avon Town Hall
Rangeley: 1:30 p.m., Church of the Good Shepherd
Rangeley Plantation: 1:30 p.m., Church of the Good Shepard, Rangeley
