‘Neighbors in Need Supper’ is Feb. 22

AUBURN — The West Auburn Congregational Church will hold a “Neighbors in Need Supper” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the vestry. The church is at 811 West Auburn Road.

The supper will be a potluck with many homemade casseroles, baked beans, homemade rolls, homemade cakes and beverages included.

Take out will be available. Prices for meals are adults $7, children 5-10 years $4 and under 5 free.

Donna Cote will serve as the chairman for this event.

Bean, ham supper Feb. 22 in Lisbon

LISBON — A home-baked bean and ham supper will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Lisbon United Methodist Church, 14 School St.

Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12 and free for 5 and under.

The meal is hosted by the Methodist Women.

Baked bean supper at Gray church

GRAY — A baked bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the First Congregational Church, Route 115.

Meal includes casseroles, salads, homemade breads and desserts.

Writer, blogger to speak about beer

LEWISTON — Maine author and beer blogger Josh Christie will speak on his book, “Maine Beer: Brewing in Vacationland,” at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library.

Breakfast benefits Anya Geoffroy

LEWISTON — A benefit pancake breakfast for Anya Geoffroy of Monmouth will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at The Green Ladle, 156 East Ave.

Funds will help support Anya in her battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma while pregnant with her first child. All proceeds will be used to help Anya with her medical bills.

Menu includes pancakes, sausage, fruit salad, juice, tea and coffee.

Knights plan bean, casserole supper

SABATTUS — The Knights of Columbus of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish will sponsor a baked beans and casserole supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Our Lady of the Rosary, 131 High St.

Proceeds will benefit parish programs.

Contributions for the complete supper including desserts and beverages are $7.50 for adults, $3 for children under 12.
