Winter fun day set for Feb. 15
HARRISON — The Waterford World’s Fair will hold a winter fun day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at High View Farm, 48 Leander Harmon Road.
The event will include sledding, a bonfire, farm animals, food sale, snowmobile poker rally and sleigh rides for $5 per person.

Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Feb. 10 were as follows: first/second tie, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe with Hazel Glazier and Dick Allen; third, Mary Ann Trafton and Luke Merry; first in B, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.
Winners on Feb. 11 were: first, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Kathleen Burden and Mary Ann Trafton; third, Paul Sherman and Mike True.

SeniorsPlus visits Norway Town Hall
NORWAY — SeniorsPlus, the Area Agency on Aging, will be at the Norway Town Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions or concerns.

Community potluck supper Feb. 20
WATERFORD — The Wilkins Community House will hold a community potluck supper at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20.
The Community House is in Waterford Flat on Plummer Hill Road behind the village green next door to the church. Community suppers are held on the third Thursday of each month through May.
The hosts for this supper are Joy and Henry Plate and Donna and Barry Patrie.
Bring a friend and a dish to share and enjoy chatting with new friends and neighbors.
Norway-Paris ice fishing derby
NORWAY — The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association will hold the annual ice fishing derby on Feb. 22 and 23.
The derby is open to fish from any area lake. To enter a fish, participants need to buy a derby ticket for $1 and register the fish between sunrise and sunset at the Little Red School House on Route 117 on Norway Lake. The derby ticket will also serve as a raffle ticket for many prizes donated by area businesses and sportsmen.
Any child entering a fish gets a prize.
Lunch and many homemade goodies will be for sale at the school house.
The proceeds from the derby go into the general fund from which several local youngsters are sent to the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond.
