LIVERMORE FALLS — The Gazebo Committee needs more members to help take care of the gazebo and arrange for music to be played there during warmer months.
The committee is a separate entity from the town.
Member Ron Chadwick told selectmen Tuesday that the panel needs more members.
Maxine Bailey, who had been a member of the committee for years and was instrumental in getting the gazebo built, died Jan. 18. She had arranged for musicians to play at the gazebo for years.
Chadwick said he and Doug and Priscilla Mosher of Fayette, formerly of Livermore Falls, are the only members left.
“We need some help. We still want music,” he said.
The committee is trying to get in touch with Bailey’s family to see if they know where her calendar and records related to the gazebo are.
Anyone interested in serving on the committee can call Chadwick at 897-2178 or get in touch with the Moshers, he said.
