Recently, a bunch of us were sitting at the corner of Mill and South Main streets in New Auburn. Nine Auburn school buses came down the hill  from the direction of Walton and Sherwood Heights schools, less that five minutes apart. We counted them.

That many buses so close together seemed like an awful waste of money to us. Can’t they be consolidated?
