Community Credit Union recently presented The Center for Wisdom’s Women with a $240 check to further its mission. The center is a collaborative of women who work together to enrich each other’s lives and those in the surrounding communities. The center also strives through a variety of efforts to support women in becoming aware of their inner resources, pursuing life-affirming relationships and developing their potential. At the presentation were, from left: Community Credit Union President/CEO Kerry Wood, Bates College work study student Sarah Logan, center guest Yvette Audet, Wisdom’s Women volunteer Pattie Haggerty, volunteer Chikara Desormiers, Center for Wisdom’s Women Executive Director Klara Tammany, volunteer Pat Gardner, and Community Credit Union Executive Vice President Jen Hogan. Community Credit Union has branches at 144 Pine St., Lewiston and 40 Stanley St., Auburn.
