PORTLAND (AP) — The average price of gasoline has gone up ever so slightly in Maine in the past week, to $3.53 a gallon.

The gasoline pricing website GasBuddy.com surveys more than 1,200 Maine gasoline outlets.

The average price of gas nationally has not changed since last week, at $3.30 a gallon.

Prices in Maine are 1.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, and 6.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 5.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 3.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
