LEWISTON — A 60th wedding anniversary gathering was held recently for Roland and Fernande Mathieu of Lewiston. The couple was married Sept. 26, 1953.

The event was planned by their two sons, Donald and Danny and his fiancee, Debbie Brissette, and was held at the Brissette home in Gray.

Refreshements and lunch were served for family and friends and the couple received many gifts. A video was made of their many years of marriage, which was very special to them.

In addition to their family, they have two great-granddaughters.
