Spurrs Corner food pantry hours
OTISFIELD — The food pantry at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121, will be open Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The pantry is open to residents of Otisfield on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. For information call 583-4780 or 627-4329.
West Paris food pantry
WEST PARIS — The Neighborhood Niche Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at West Paris Baptist Church, 15 Church St.
The pantry is open the first and third Tuesday of each month. West Paris residents are invited to come once a month.
Neighborly Seniors to meet Dec. 18
PERU — The Neighborly Seniors will meet for the monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the old Peru School. They will have a potluck lunch at noon.
Ladies/Community Breakfast
OQUOSSOC — The next Ladies/Community Breakfast will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Gingerbread House, Main Street.
Anyone with a special dietary need should call in advance.
Knights Templar Christmas Observance
WILTON — Pilgrim Commandery No. 19 Knights Templar will hold its annual Christmas observance at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, at the Harnden Masonic Lodge Hall on the Bryant Road.
All Sir Knights, Chapter, Council and Master Masons are invited to attend this special Christmas service.
Christmas Eve at United Parish
HARRISON — The United Parish – Congregational Church of Harrison & North Bridgton will hold a special Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24.
The service will include readings, carols and special Christmas music. The church is at 77 Main St.
Christmas Eve candlelight service
PARIS — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. All are welcome to join for an inspirational birthday party celebrating the birth of Jesus. The service will begin with a medley of welcoming carols outside the church on the steps.
Deering Memorial UMC is on the corner of Main and Church streets. The church is accessible.
The congregation invites the public to a free breakfast each Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m.
Christmas Eve service
OTISFIELD — A Christmas Eve Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road. All are welcome.
Christmas will be celebrated with multiple choir selections and with congregational hymn singing. The Rev. Genise Stern will share a message regarding the best gift of all. The service will be led by several members of the congregation as well as Chaplain Pattie Haggerty.
Chris Barbor will be soloist, singing “Mary Did You Know.” The expanded choir will sing “Il Est Me,” a traditional French carol; “Pavane for a Silent Night,” based on a Ravel piece; an up-tempo Mid-Eastern Sufi folk song about the birth of Jesus and the celebration around it; and “Welcome to Our World,” arranged by Jack Schrader. Priscilla Delehanty will direct.
Methodist Christmas Eve service
RUMFORD — On Christmas Eve, at 6 p.m. Dec. 24, the Rumford United Methodist Church will hold a service at the chapel on Linnell Street.
There will be the singing of several carols and appropriate nativity scriptures plus several selections by the choir directed by Judith Kuhn with special flute accompaniment by Mary Pulsifer. The service will be led by Pastor Carol Stevens.
Congregational candlelight service
SUMNER — A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, by Pastor Howard MacMullen, Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St.

First U. plans candlelight service
WEST PARIS — On Dec. 24, at 5 p.m. the First Universalist Church of West Paris will hold its annual candlelight celebration, led by The Rev. Fayre Stephenson. All are welcome.
In place of the traditional offering the church will be accepting donations of nonperishable food or money for the West Paris food pantry.
