Free supper for all is Dec. 20
NORWAY — A free supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St. Whether you are visiting the Oxford Hills, single or a large family group, all are invited to join for a dinner of ham, potatoes, veggies and dessert.
The church is an open and affirming congregation. All are welcome to worship, study and join in fellowship. Worship and Church school is every Sunday at 10 a.m. For more information, call the church office at 207-743-2290.
New Year’s Eve dance at Legion
PARIS — A New Year’s Eve dance will take place from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the American Legion Hall, 12 Church St.
Music will be provided by Jones Dance Band. A smorgasbord lunch will available at 9:45 p.m.

Outdoor Living Nativity Dec. 21
SUMNER — An Outdoor Living Nativity will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, followed by refreshments in the Vestry, Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St.

West Paris Baptist holiday events
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Baptist is planning a group of activities for the holiday season.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m., there will be wagon-drawn caroling from the church around the village. Starting at 5 in front of the church, a live nativity will take place with caroling.
On Sunday, Dec. 22, there will be performances of a Christmas musical, “Emanuel,” at 9:50 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
A Christmas Eve service is planned for 6 p.m Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Dec. 9 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Luke Merry and Tom Goodwin; third, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman.
Winners on Dec. 10 were: first, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; third, Paul Sherman and Mike True.
Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all social bridge players are welcomed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for more information.
