ANDOVER — The Andover Congregational Church will hosting its annual craft fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, with all proceeds to help feed hungry children.
Church member Marsha Burns said the church used to set up a table at the Andover Fireman’s Association craft fair, but decided to branch out on its own.
“We got to the point where we had enough tables to hold our own craft fair,” she said. “We have coffee and donuts in the morning, and serve lunch later in the afternoon. We have a huge sleigh filled with all kinds of things to raffle off and several tables set up for crafters.”
Among the groups and residents setting up tables are the Andover Historical society, Fox Run Farms and resident Paula Griffin.
Burns said proceeds will benefit Hungry Kingdom, a group spearheaded by Andover residents that provides free lunches to students at Andover Elementary School.
“It’s a really important group for us,” Burns said. “We always get a great turnout at the craft fair.”
