LEWISTON — City police reported Tuesday that a man they were searching for Monday was found dead.

Christian Caldera, 32, of 130 College St., who had a life-threatening condition that required weekly treatment, was last seen Wednesday in Lewiston. Police sought the public’s help and issued an alert Monday.

On Tuesday morning, Lt. Michael McGonagle issued a statement that Caldera had been found. The cause of death is not known, but circumstances do not appear to be suspicious, he said.
