GRAY — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Androscoggin and Oxford counties Monday. That means to expect snow, sleet and or freezing rain to make travel conditions difficult.

The snow already has started in Lewiston and Auburn. Snowfall and sleet accumulation could reach as much as 4 inches by 3 p.m. The snow is expected to turn into a wintry mix — that’s the sleet and freezing rain — just in time for the morning commute.
