CHESTERVILLE — A woman was injured Friday morning when her SUV went into a ditch, hit some rocks and rolled over on Sanborn Hill Road, Cpl. Christopher Chase of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said.

Jill Tibbetts, 42, of Chesterville told Chase she swerved to avoid deer crossing the road at about 8:50 a.m., he said.

Chesterville firefighters and NorthStar EMS ambulance responded to the accident.

Tibbetts received minor injuries and was taken by personal vehicle to the hospital, he said.

The Ford Explorer she was driving was destroyed.
