“Notes from an Innkeeper’s Journal” tells of a couple’s escape from corporate America to the dream of running a B&B. Often lighthearted, sometimes serious, the journey through the ups and downs of innkeeping offers a new take on hospitality (paperback).

“Hell is So Green,” written by World War II veteran Lt. William Diebold, edited with foreward and afterward by Dick Matthews, tells the story of Diebold’s experiences in the China-Burma-India theater of the war. From the shadows of the attic in which the manuscript was discovered after Diebold’s death, comes a compelling story of adventure and courage (hardcover).

“After the Rain” explores the natural world through the eyes of a child named Bridie. With a sense of wonder and respect for her environment, Bridie discovers that she is not the only creature enjoying the sun after days of rain. Illustrations are by Luanne Wrenn (paperback). “Libby’s Loons” shares the author’s dedication to preserving Maine’s loon population. An educator and conservationist, Prince teaches about loons with the help of a young girl named Libby. Illustrations are by Luanne Wrenn (paperback). Website is www.nancyprinceofmaine.com.
