River Valley Rotary Club President Roger Whitehouse shakes hands with Paul Emery, a fellow Rotarion and Realtor with Prudential Northeast Properties in Westbrook, during the club’s Oct. 29 meeting at the Hope Association. Emery visited the club to discuss the Gift of Life New England Inc., a company that raises money for life-saving surgeries for children with congenital heart defects. During the meeting, Whitehouse, Emery and other club members raised $500 for the Gift of Life New England.
