Veterans and community members were joined Monday morning by the state’s first lady Ann LePage, second from left, to hold flags high at the Jay War Memorial. Veterans have been holding flags in front of the monument on each Monday of the week from May to November for five years. Monday was the last time for this year. Standing with the group on Monday were, from left, Roberta Simoneau, LePage, Ana Bright, Linda Burdo, Kaelynn Bright, Myckayla Bright, Sammy Bright.
