A visit Friday from children’s author and illustrator Tracey Campbell Pearson of Vermont started activities for Book Week at the Mallett School in Farmington. Pearson told the youngtsters about creating, drawing and writing her book, “Elephant’s Story.” Kenny Brechner of Devaney Doak and Garrett Booksellers helped bring the author to Farmington.
