Portland-based photographer Brian Fitzgerald photographs members of the Auburn Fire Department at the station on Center Street in Auburn on Tuesday evening. The photograph will be used in a 2014 calendar that will be sold to raise money for the American Lung Association. The team of firefighters will compete in the ninth annual ALA Fight for Air Climb in Boston in February. The “Everyday Heroes” calendar is a way for the firefighters to raise money leading up to the event, firefighter Dan Masselli said. Fitzgerald and Charlie Widdis, far right, spent three days photographing firefighters doing everyday activities such as mowing the grass and changing a baby’s diaper. Masselli said he is seeking sponsorship opportunities for the calendar. Those who are interested can contact him at kdkmasselli@gmail.com. From left are firefighter wife Lisa Keene, Fitzgerald, Chip Keene, Scott Pray, John Roy, Mike Lecompte, Josh Labonte, Matthew Fifield, Masselli and Thomas Printup.
