A trash container fell off the back of an Archie’s Inc. trash truck near the center line on Perham Street about 9 a.m. Friday in Farmington. A cable appeared to be attached to the container as the truck moved and dragged it into the lane. Farmington police Chief Jack Peck said he was patrolling downtown and saw the trash container with traffic backed up. He directed traffic around it. Another Archie’s employee arrived soon after and helped get the container back on the truck. Archie’s Inc. is based in Mexico.
