- The Lewiston Elks Lodge 371 recently held its annual Soccer Shoot for children under the age of 14 at the Edward Little High School. The winner of the soccer shoot was Jay Hawkes of Poland. He won in the 8-, 9-year-old division, scoring a total of 24 points. Hawkes will advance to the district contest to be held at the Augusta Elks Lodge. Pictured with Hawkes is Edward McClure, who serves as the lodge’s Soccer Shoot chairman.
