When Bates College freshman Alison Ricciardi, left, and Haley Steinhauser were walking down Lisbon Street with their parents Friday night during parents weekend, they came upon the Grow L+A storefront and noticed people painting. It was a project called Preservation Pictionary, where people walking around during the last Art Walk of the season would try to guess what architectural landmark they were drawing. The girls were not half finished when somebody guessed the Bates Chapel, but they kept drawing.
