STRATTON — Maine Huts & Trails will showcase culinary creations by their hut staff at the first-ever Harvest Dinner at the Stratton Brook Hut at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Dinner will feature locally-sourced and in-season fall foods to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of fall in delicious style.

Hors d’oeuvres will include lobster, meatballs, bruschetta and crudités. And the main course will include vegetable soup, salad, fresh gnocchi and braised beef, polished off with an apple crostata dessert. Beer and wine will also be served.

The hut is accessible only via a three-mile hike or bike trip in and out.

Cost is $120 for members and $130 for nonmembers.

Prices include the dinner, overnight stay and breakfast and lunch the following day, and are subject to additional taxes.
