LEWISTON — Kevin Lewis, CEO of Maine Community Health Options, recently announced that Will Kilbreth has joined the organization as chief information officer.

MCHO is a nonprofit that will provide affordable health insurance to Maine people and small businesses beginning in January 2014.

Kilbreth has more than 19 years of experience in the health care, technology and finance industries. Prior to joining MCHO, he served as deputy director for Maine’s Dirigo Health Agency, overseeing technical and financial operations. He concurrently served as acting deputy director for the Maine Health Data Organization, the state’s all payer claims database.

In his new role, Kilbreth is responsible for leading and developing the strategy, techniques, standards and support model for MCHO’s information technology systems. In past roles he has focused on the delivery of business systems and analytics for local and international clients.
