PORTLAND (AP) — Gasoline prices in Maine have fallen for the second straight week.
Price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com reports Monday that gas in Maine is now averaging $3.69 a gallon, down about 3 cents in the past week. Prices in Maine are 32 cents lower than a year ago, but are 15 cents higher than the national average.
Senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan said he expects prices to continue falling in the weeks ahead and to be 5 to 15 cents lower per gallon by Halloween.
The Maine price is based on a survey of more than 1,200 gas stations.
