Key losses: Jon Averill (WR/CB), Cody Collingwood (RB/DE), Brian Daniels (OL/DL), Richard Fillion (OL/DL), Chris Harlow (OL/DL), Brandon Potvin (RB/DE), Caleb Provost (OL/LB), Mike Saunders (OL/DL), Donnie Vannah (DL), Joel Wells (RB/DB) .
Promising newcomers: Seniors — Garrett Labbe (DT), Ryan Stevens (WR/CB); Sophomores — Garrett Gile (C/MLB), Dalon Therrien (Util/FS), Levi Buteau (Util/OLB).
Season outlook: The Raiders have plenty of talent and experience at the skill positions, but how far they go will depend on the line that’s charged with giving those ballcarriers the room to work. Asselin goes into his fourth year as a starter throwing the ball with more confidence than ever and Washburn gives him a big, athletic target that will create major matchup problems. Mace and Flaherty are three-year starters and form one of the top running tandems in Class D. Therrien and Buteau will be their understudies, but will also split out wide to give Asselin more weapons. Their biggest strength last year, the line, is the biggest question mark, with Beaulieu the only returning starter. Doucette expects Washburn and Flaherty to be disruptive bookends on defense.
