The Lewiston-Auburn community celebrates the construction of a new dual ice rink facility, as well it should for the benefit it will bring to the Twin Cities.
At the same time, the communities contemplate the potential eradication of two significant buildings of architectural merit — St. Joseph’s and St. Louis churches, part of the dying legacy left to the Twin Cities from a previous generation.
There is something drastically wrong with that scenario, isn’t there?
