PORTLAND (AP) — Police said the death of a man who fell from the sixth-floor of a Portland parking garage is not considered a homicide.
The body of 54-year-old David Thorne was found on the street next to the garage at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
Police said witnesses saw a man dangling his legs over the side of the garage’s top floor.
Thorne’s brother, Jim, told The Portland Press Herald (http://bit.ly/1dlUuAT ) that his brother was “a sensitive guy with a big heart.”
Jim Thorne said his brother grew up in Presque Isle but had lived in Portland for years.
