YARMOUTH — A Yarmouth man suffered injuries Thursday afternoon after falling from the roof of his two-story house on Little John Island.

The man, whose name was not released, is in his 60s, Yarmouth Fire Chief Michael Robitaille said. He was taken to Maine Medical Center by LifeFlight of Maine.

“He had injuries to his leg — broken bones — and may have injuries to his pelvis,” Robitaille said. He also complained of abdominal pain and suffered abrasions to his head. His condition was not immediately available.
