GORHAM — Molly Elizabeth Metevier graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine on May 11 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

While at the University of Southern Maine, she worked part time with children who have developmental disabilities as a behavioral health professional. She was also a member of the Golden Key International Society and was on the dean’s list all four years. Molly is planning to return to graduate school at University of Southern Maine in fall 2014 to obtain her master’s in social work.

A graduate of Cheverus High School in 2009, Molly is the daughter of Paul and Gay (Peterson) Metevier of North Yarmouth. Mrs. Metevier is a former Auburn resident. Molly is the granddaughter of Beverly Peterson and the late Richard Peterson of Auburn and the late Virginia and Robert Metevier of Kittery.
