Reunion for Keen descendants
SUMNER — Meet and greet the descendants of John and Martha Keen. All Keenes are invited to the 88th annual reunion at A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11.
Potluck lunch is at noon. The group will move to the pond at 3 p.m.
Bring your whole family, a dish to share, swimsuits, towels and lawn chairs for the pond. There will be hand-crank ice cream, outside activities for kids, a barn swing, and sheep, horse and chickens

Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Aug. 5 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Richard Balian and Bailey Geeslin; third/fourth tie, Nancy Farmer and Nancy Lindgren with Patricia and Mike Quinn; first in B, Richard Balian and Bailey Geeslin; second/third tie, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe with Eileen Potvin and Della Starbird.
Winners on Tuesday were: first, Mike True and Rick Verrill; second, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; third, Connie and Ron Reynolds.

Old-fashioned church supper
OTISFIELD — The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will hold an old-fashioned Saturday night church supper to benefit the Salvation Army and Red Cross from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Otisfield Community Hall, Route 121.
The menu will include home-baked beans, red and brown hot dogs, corn on the cob, favorite casseroles, salads, rolls and homemade desserts.

VFW baked bean supper Aug. 17
PARIS — A baked bean supper with all the fixings will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the VFW Hall 9787, 58 East Main St.
Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
VFW holding breakfast Aug. 18
HARRISON — The Ronald St. John VFW Post, at 176 Waterford Road, will have its popular breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.
The breakfast features scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, gravy and biscuits, fruit cups, sweet breads, orange juice, and beverage. The cost is $6 per person for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.
‘Meet the Community Day’
HEBRON — Hebron Community Baptist Church will have a “Meet the Community Day” from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.

Benefit golf tournament
BRIDGTON — The 23rd annual Bridgton Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Bridgton Highlands Country Club.
“Norway Savings Bank has been a sponsor every one of our 23 years,” said Pamela Smith, director of development.

The shot gun format tournament will feature at least four hole-in-one prizes in 2013; all are all-inclusive vacation trips, and the ever-popular “Putt for Cash” which is a $20,000 prize this year. There will be numerous prizes and a great silent auction.
The $85 all-inclusive fee includes 18-holes of golf, golf cart, golfer gift pack, continental breakfast, lunch and after-tournament awards reception. In addition, Bridgton Highlands Country Club provides a certificate for a free round in the fall.
