GARLAND — After an hour-and-a-half long search in Garland, two girls reported missing from a local residence were found on a local trail.
The girls were 5 years old and 7 years old, a Penobscot Regional Communications Center dispatcher said. They were reported missing from 12 Line Road Lane about 6 p.m. Saturday and had been missing for about an hour at that point.
They were found by a state police trooper about 7:30 p.m., the dispatcher confirmed.
Deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and a state game warden helped look for the children, he said.
