HARTFORD — Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center will hold a Mediums’ Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Hartford Town Hall.

Revs. Earl and Pat Wallace of the Augusta Spiritualist Church and Pinpoints’ Rose Osborn and Bob Foster will give 15-minute readings for $15.

The public is invited to attend the Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. at the Hartford Town Hall. Rev. Kay Hawkins will conduct on Aug. 4, Rev. Penny Frobese and Barbara Eckhardt on Aug. 11 and Rose Osborn on Aug. 18.

August workshops and classes include the following.

Dowsing with Bob Foster will take place at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. Dowsing teaches how to locate personal energies, consciousness and spirit. Learn the basics of dowsing for personal use. Learn to find energies around you and around physical objects.

Bring a personal object such as a crystal or other gem or item on a chain or string to use as a dowsing tool. This workshop will present an opportunity to practice dowsing for water or energy vortexes. The cost for the two-hour program is $20.

Barbara Eckhardt will present “A Healing Journey with a Medium” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. This workshop will cover aspects of the aura as it relates to health and disease, the energy field emanating from the aura and the significance of the healers hand in spiritual healing.

Participants will be led in meditation to attune to the healing spirits and to attune themselves for contact healing, either as a sitter or healer. They will leave with the understanding of their participation as a sitter and as a healer, and what the healing medium’s part is during the healing part of a service. The 90-minute program costs $15.

Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center services will resume Sept. 8.
