Hunter Bussiere of Minot recently presented the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society with the donations from his seventh birthday. Hunter, a second grade student at the Minot School, asked for donations for shelter animals in lieu of birthday gifts. Party guests donated pet food, treats, cat litter and toys, all of which will help with the care of the thousands of unwanted animals the Humane Society helps each year.
