AUBURN —The Auburn Parks & Recreation Department will present the second annual Pat’s Pizza Box Car Drive-In and Movie Night 2013 at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, at Pettengill Park, upper softball field.

Enjoy a movie under the stars and on the big screen. Children are invited to create and bring their own home-made cardboard box car and enjoy the movie in style. Prizes will be given out for the best cars on the lot. Judging based on creativity, materials used, and appearance will begin at 7:45 p.m.

Parents should bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc., as real vehicles will not be allowed on the field.

The movie to be shown is “D2: Mighty Ducks”; there is no cost to attend. In case of rain, the movie will be shown inside.
