AUGUSTA — Maine Veterans’ Home is pleased to introduce Donna L. Gosselin, RN-BC, BSN, as the organization’s new Director of Corporate Compliance and Quality. The position oversees the compliance and quality programs at six homes located across Maine, composed of 462 skilled nursing and rehabilitation beds and a 178 residential care dementia beds.

Gosselin of Monmouth previously was Director of Nursing at Seaside Healthcare in Portland for about one year. Prior to that, she served in various capacities at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston for 20 years, including Nursing Manager, Manager of Health Information Systems and Assistant Director of Nursing Services. She also served as a nurse in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1993 to 1997.

Gosselin and her husband have four children and two grandchildren. She attended Husson University’s School of Nursing. In addition to being a registered nurse, Board certified in gerontology, she is a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association and a member of the National Gerontological Nursing Association.
