AUBURN — Eva C. Shea, 99, formerly of Great Falls Plaza passed away on July 24, at Bolster Heights Nursing Facility, where she had resided for many years.

She was born in Oakwood, N.D., May 13, 1914, the daughter of Nelson and Marie (Sampson) Leblanc and at the age of 3 her family moved to Lewiston.

In her younger years, she worked in the local shoe industry and later as a meat wrapper at the A&P and IGA food stores until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Cooley of Ogunquit; her granddaughter, Jennifer Morris and husband, Jeff, of Cape Elizabeth; her great-granddaughter, Eva Morris; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, James A. Shea; and her many brothers and sisters.
