Those who attended the training include Debbie Berry of Poland, Jane Jack of Auburn, Rita Melendy of Auburn, Chris Pope of Turner, Barbara Johnson of Durham and Anita Campbell of New Gloucester.

General Volunteer training prepares volunteers to visit with patients in home care services who are homebound while they recover from an illness or injury or any other reason requiring home care services. This training also prepares volunteers to work in the office or at the Hospice House as a greeter or kitchen support.

General Volunteer training will be held Thursday, July 25, at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave.

All trainings are provided to the community at no cost. To register or for additional information contact Volunteer Services at 795-9580 or 1-800-482-7412, ext. 1280.
