LEWISTON — Jerome J. Whirley and Dean G. Salvadalena, both of Lewiston, are proud to announce their engagement.

Mr. Whirley is the son of the late former Auburn Deputy Fire Chief Frederick M. Whirley and the late Mary Bilodeau Whirley. He graduated from Edward Little High School and is now retired as chancellor of the Ecumenical Orthodox Catholic Church of America, Inc., counseling potentially suicidal children.

Mr. Salvadalena is the son of Robert Salvadalena and the late Ramona Salvadalena of Snohomish, Wash. He graduated from Eastern Washington University and is retired from his position as an executive in the reinsurance industry in New York City.

A fall wedding is planned.
