1938 – 2013
Lewiston — Randall K. Woodcock, 75, of Dow Ave., Lewiston, died Wednesday, July 10, at Marshwood Center in Lewiston.
He was born in Lewiston on June 17, 1938, a son of Kenneth and Dorothy (Jones) Woodcock. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School class of 1956. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa and Las Vegas.
Randall moved to Connecticut and worked as a technician with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and International Fuel Cells for 38 years. He was a dedicated Red Sox and UCONN Huskies fan, as well as a member of the American Legion Post 0135 in Sabattus.
He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (Woodcock) Tremblay of Manchester, Conn.; a son, Ryan Woodcock and wife, Charlene, of Colchester, Conn.; brothers, Calvin Woodcock and wife, Robin, and their son, Joshua, of Gray, and Barry Woodcock and family of Lisbon; four grandchildren, Julia and Katelyn Tremblay of Manchester, Conn., and Dylan and Cody Woodcock of Colchester, Conn.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Woodcock; his mother, Dorothy Bickford; and stepfather, Donald Bickford.
The family would like to thank Romeo Bosse Jr., a special friend and neighbor, and Elli Gordon, a family member, along with the staff at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and Marshwood Center for their nurturing support during his illness.
