FARMINGTON — RSU 9 directors voted to approve Superintendent Tom Ward’s nominations of two teachers.
Kathryn “Kate” Williams of Livermore will fill a kindergarten teaching position at the W.G. Mallett School in Farmington.
There were 23 applicants for the job.
Ingrid Merrill of Scarborough will be a half-time French and half-time German teacher at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. Six candidates applied for the position.
The board’s Administrator Evaluation Committee is in the process of interviewing candidates for a half-time principal position at the Mallett School.
There are applications for the principal position at Academy Hill and Cushing schools in Wilton, Ward told the board Tuesday.
Former Wilton school Principal Darlene Paine was named principal of Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon in June.
