Film: ‘War on Whistleblowers’
NORWAY — “War on Whistleblowers” will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Fare Share Commons, 443 Main St.

The film tells about U.S. officials who exposed illegal wiretapping and abusive monitoring of private communications, who disclosed defense contractor rake-offs in Iraq, who reported on U.S. torture practices and who publicized contractor fraud in supplying low-quality military equipment. The film is by former television producer and film director, Robert Greenwald.
There will be refreshments. Call Tom Whitney at 207-743-2183 for more information. The Public Interest Forum meets monthly to explore political, social and cultural issues bearing on democracy.
