DIXFIELD— With three of RSU 10’s 12 towns reporting midevening Tuesday, the proposed $36.18 million budget was losing.
Carthage voted 10-8 in favor of it. Roxbury and Sumner voted against it by votes of 16-31 and 20-34, respectively.
Carthage turned down continuing with the two-vote budget adoption process, 5-13. Roxbury and Sumner approved extending it for three more years by votes of 31-16 and 36-17, respectively.
